Weather Sources
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) is an important source of weather information used in connection with Green Alerts Mausam Sewa and Panchayat Mausam Sewa.
Green Alerts Mausam Sewa entered into an MoU with IMD on 19 March 2021 for providing free-of-cost hyperlocal weather forecasts to farmers through www.greenalerts.in.
Weather information may also be obtained from other recognised sources, depending upon the service and location.
Other Information Sources
Depending upon the subject, Green Alerts may use information from:

- State Government departments;
- public institutions;
- agricultural universities;
- research institutions;
- recognised market or mandi information systems;
- public datasets;
- partner organisations;
- local institutions;
