Maize
English: Maize Stage:- Sowing, Start sowing of maize. Sow only the PAU recommended hybrids/varieties. To avoid the adverse effect of excess rainfall, particularly at seedling emergence, sow the maize seed on top centre of the bed with row-to-row spacing of 67.5 cm and plant to plant spacing of 18 cm or sowing should be done on the side of ridges preferably 6-7 cm above base with 60 cm apart rows and plant to plant spacing should be 20 cm.

Green gram

Mango
English: Mango Stage-Fruiting Mango- Mango trees carrying good load of fruits should be applied with additional one kg CAN per tree during this month. Fruit fly- Fix PAU fruit fly trap @ 16 per acre. Recharge the trap after 30 days, if needed. Spray Bordeaux mixture 2: 2: 250 at fortnightly interval for control of diseases.

English: Citrus Fruit development- Citrus- To control insect-pests in citrus, spray 200 ml Crocodile/Confidor 17.8 SL or 160gActara/Dotara 25 WG in 500 litres of water per acre. To control citrus scab, give spray of Bordeaux mixture (2: 2: 250) or Copper oxychloride (0.3%).

General advice
English: General Advise • Apply frequest and light irrigation in litchi. Mango, citrus nd pear to avoid heat strees. Avoid heavy irrigations in case of high wind speed prediction which may cause lodging and fruit drop of trees.• White wash mixture can be applied on the main trunks of the fruit trees to protect them from intense heat. • Thatches or coverings can be erected to save the young fruit plants from intense heat. Apply frequent watering to young as well as nursery plants also.• Irrigate vegetable crops at weekly intervals depending upon soil and climate conditions.• Ginger:- Sow the crop under optimum moisture conditions• In the areas, where the rainfall is occurred, the farmers can grow arhar, maize, groundnut, soybean and fodder crops.
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ (Punjabi): ਸਧਾਰਨ ਸਲਾਹ • ਗਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ ਅੰਬ, ਨਿੰਬੂ ਜਾਤੀ, ਨਾਸ਼ਪਾਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੀਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਲਕੀ ਸਿੰਚਾਈ ਕਰੋ। ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਭਾਰੀ ਸਿੰਚਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਚੋ।• ਫ਼ਲਦਾਰ ਬੂਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਢਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਧੁੱਪ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਲੀ ਦੇ ਘੋਲ ਦਾ ਲੇਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।• ਨਵੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਫਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਨੈਂਟ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਸਰੀ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿਓ।• ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇ ਕਿ ਵੇਲਾ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ, ਟਮਾਟਰ, ਮਿਰਚ, ਬੈਂਗਣ, ਭਿੰਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਵਾਹ ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿਓ ਤਾ ਜੋ ਵੱਧ ਤ ਵੱਧ ਫਲ ਲੱਗਣ । ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ 4-5 ਦਿਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੰਜਾਈ ਮੌਸਮ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਕਰੋ। • ਅਦਰਕ:- ਅਦਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਹਲਦੀ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਾਈ ਦਾ ਢੁੱਕਵਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ।• ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅਰਹਰ, ਮੱਕੀ, ਮੂੰਗਫਲੀ, ਸੋਇਆਬੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਉਗਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
