22nd–23rd October: Strong surface winds (40-50 kmph) expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam.

Heavy rainfall (7-11 cm) at isolated places over Rayalaseema:

In Coastal Andhra Pradesh:

Drainage: Provide adequate drainage in fields of rice, maize, pigeon pea, black gram, green gram, groundnut, turmeric, ginger, vegetables, and plantations of coconut, arecanut, banana, coffee, and black pepper to prevent water stagnation.

In Rayalaseema:

Drainage: Maintain proper drainage in fields of rice, groundnut, cotton, turmeric, and vegetables to avoid water stagnation.

General for Both Regions:

Support for Crops: Provide mechanical support to horticultural crops and staking to vegetables and young fruit plants to prevent lodging due to strong winds.
Harvested Crops: Tie harvested crops and cover them to minimize displacement due to strong winds.
Animal Care: Keep animals inside sheds during heavy rainfall and provide balanced feed.
Feed Storage: Store feed and fodder in safe places to protect from rain.

Travel Precautions: Check for traffic congestion before leaving and follow traffic advisories.
Avoid Risky Areas: Stay away from areas prone to water logging.
Safety Measures: Avoid staying in vulnerable structures.
Be Prepared: Expect localized flooding of roads, water logging in low-lying areas, reduced visibility, traffic disruptions, minor damage to kutcha roads, damage to vulnerable structures, and localized landslides/mudslides.
Fishermen Advisory: Fishermen are advised not to venture into areas along and off Tamil Nadu coast and adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coasts on 17th October, and Gulf of Mannar during 17th–22nd October.
