East and Central India

  • Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh): Isolated heavy rainfall from 14th to 20th August, with isolated very heavy rainfall over West Madhya Pradesh on 14th and 15th August.
  • Vidarbha (Maharashtra): Heavy rainfall likely from 14th to 20th August, with isolated very heavy rainfall on 14th and 17th August.
  • Chhattisgarh (Chhattisgarh): Heavy rainfall between 14th and 20th August, very heavy on 14th and during 18th to 20th August.
  • Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim (West Bengal, Sikkim): Heavy rainfall on 14th and from 17th to 19th August.

  • Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam (Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry), Telangana (Telangana), and Interior Karnataka (Karnataka): Heavy rainfall from 14th to 19th August.
  • Coastal Karnataka (Karnataka): Heavy rainfall from 14th to 20th August, with very heavy rainfall on 14th and between 17th to 19th August.
  • Telangana (Telangana): Very heavy rainfall from 14th to 16th August.
  • South Interior Karnataka (Karnataka): Very heavy rainfall on 19th August.

Strong surface winds with speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are expected over South Peninsular India on 14th August. Light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, is expected over Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, and Telangana for the next five days.

Northwest India
