Rice
•Present weather is suitable for Incidence of Leaf folder in paddy at tillering stage. To control this Chloripyriphos @ 2.5 ml/acephate @1.5 g cartap Hydro chloride @2 g / Chlorantaniprol @ 0.4 ml per liter of water should be sprayed.
Maize
• In maize at all the stages, Fall Army Worm incidence is more. This can be controlled by sprayring Novoluron @ 1 ml/l or Imamectin benzoate @ 0.4 g/l into the whorls of the leaves.
Green gram
• Remove standing water from the field as much as possible. • Apply 15 kg urea and 10 kg potash per acre in the evening after cessation of rains.• To prevent iron deficiency caused by current rains and excess moisture. Spraying of Iron sulphate @ 3-5 g per liter of water and spray twice in 2 to 10 days can be done.
Cotton
• In the current weather condition, the farmers who sow cotton should select short duration varieties • Present weather suitable for applying nitrogen and potash fertilizers. So topdressing of fertilizers should be done.
Pigeon pea (red gram/arhar)
• Due to the current monsoon conditions, the sowing of red gram has been somewhat delayed. so medium and short-duration varieties should be selected and .Before sowing seed treatment must be done .
Sugarcane
•In sugarcane at vegetative stage, there is a high chance of shootfly incidence. Pheramone traps @ 6 per acre should be installed to monitor the pest infestation. If more than ten male flies are observed. This can be controlled by spraying Chlorpyriphos @ 2.5 ml (or) Monocrotophos @ 1.6 ml (or) Chlorantaniprol @ 0.3 ml per liter of water.
Buffalo
•FMD Vaccine 1 ml should give to Buffaloes for control of foot & mouth diseases which attacks in rainy season. After vaccine buffaloes are allowed to place in shade areas for 2 days and should give green fodder and mineral mixture.
