Drip Irrigation System by Priya,10th Std, Adarsh Senior Secondary School

A drip irrigation system or trickle irrigation system is a type of micro-irrigation system that has the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the surface.
Advantages of Drip Irrigation:
1. Maximum use of available water.
2. No water is available to weeds.
3. Maximum crop yield.
4. High efficiency in the use of fertilizers.
5. Less weed growth and restricts population of potential hosts.
